Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas Renovation

The first year and a half at Royal Caribbean I worked on multiple projects. The third renovation project I worked this past year on was for Liberty of the Seas where we had our drydock in Brest, France. For this project, we were able to revamp the ship by adding new venues, updating existing venues, remodeling staterooms and suites, and cleaning up the pool decks. Although this was the smallest ship, it was the most difficult because of how old the ship was. It required a lot of attention to detail. For this project I assisted in managing the architects, designing spaces, and making selections for the furniture, upholstery, and accessories. Venues I worked on included Izumi Teppanyaki, Photo Shorex, Starbucks, as well as updating old cabins while adding brand new ones.
